Stitch Markers

I participated in my first ever Stitch Marker Exchange. I've made earrings, but haven't tried stitch markers. I was feeling adventurous, so I signed up for 3 international partners. Robyn worked really hard, and matched all of us to the number of partners we requested. For this exchange, we are supposed to make 5 markers for each of our partners. I made 5 markers and a matching row counter. One set is mauve and white, one set is green and orange, and the last set is blue and white. I made my own jumprings by wrapping sterling silver wire around a size 11 knitting needle. It was a lot of fun, and I think I will make these sets to send out in all of my various swap packages. They are going in the mail today to Canada, Ireland and Hungary - how cool is that??

Hello fellow South Jerseyan! They're beautiful! I have always wondered about how to make/use the row counters! Your partners are very lucky! Great job!

Thank you for all your compiments, I have to say that I was feeling rather proud of myself :)

As for the gauge wire I used, I purchased some sterling silver findings that included 1 inch long pins with a head on them, and I used those. Sorry - don't know the exact gauge.

Wow! I'm impressed; and sterling silver too. I hope your swap partners like them and send something equally beautiful to you.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. I have never done kitchener stitch which is why I'm procrastinating a bit! :-) However, I want to finish the socks so that I can send them to charity as winter is fast approaching in this part of the world.

Thank you so much, Lia! I love the colour and the colour of the yarn, too. What a surprise!
But please, could you explain how to use the row counter. I tried to google it up, but to no avail. If you want I have a link to an email address on my blog....
I'm really, really happy!

Beautiful stitch markers, and the row counters were such a great idea! Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm using the two different colorways of Socks That Rock for my scarf - neither are a solid color. I'm loving watching the colors change!
